Thirumagal ty Yogaparan
Dr. Thirumagl Yogaparan has been a staff geriatrician at Baycrest, Toronto Canada , since 2007 and has served as the Executive Medical Director of Baycrest Hospital since 2016. Currently, she holds the position of Associate Professor, Department of Medicine, University of Toronto. She served as the inaugural geriatrics and care of the elderly undergraduate theme lead from 205-2020. Dr. Yogaparan obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Jaffna, Faculty of
Medicine, Sri Lanka, MD in Internal Medicine from the University of Colombo,
Sri Lanka. She completed her Internal Medicine residency training at Bridgeport Hospital, Yale University School of Medicine, Connecticut, USA and her Geriatric Medicine residency training at the University of Toronto. Dr. Yogaparan also completed the Master Teacher Program at the University of Toronto. Dr. Yogaparan is dedicated to advancing the care of older adults and training healthcare providers to address their needs.
