Speakers: Associate Professor Michael Woodward and Professor Lucy Morgan

Join us for an engaging and informative session titled "Leading the Charge: Geriatricians' Influence in Vaccinating Older Adults with AREXVY and SHINGRIX." This symposium will delve into the crucial role geriatricians play in enhancing the health of older adults through effective vaccination strategies.   During this session, we will explore real-life case studies on RSV and shingles, demonstrating the impactful outcomes of using AREXVY and SHINGRIX. We will provide an in-depth discussion on the efficacy and safety of these vaccines, emphasizing their importance in preventive care for the elderly.   In addition, we will highlight the benefits of adjuvanted vaccines for older adults and how geriatricians can significantly boost vaccination rates within this population. The session will culminate in a dynamic panel discussion featuring leading experts who will debate and share valuable insights on these critical topics.   Attendees will gain practical strategies for improving vaccination coverage among older adults, ensuring better health outcomes for this vulnerable group.
