Madeleine Healy
Madeleine Healy is a geriatrician at Monash Health. Madeleine has a special interest in supporting people living with dementia who are experiencing behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia, and is a medical specialist for Dementia Support Australia. She also works in clinical trials in Alzheimer’s disease, and has a clinical subspecialty in Down syndrome and dementia. Madeleine is an adjunct senior lecturer appointment at Monash University and is undertaking a PhD in Down syndrome and dementia.
Her research includes the management of BPSD, including co-authoring “The BPSD textbook” .
Madeleine is a Churchill Fellow, completing her fellowship in the UK, US and Europe in 2024 in the area of intellectual disability and dementia.
