Alicia Lu
Dr Alicia Lu is a Melbourne-based geriatrician and PhD candidate at the National Centre for Healthy Ageing. Her research explores how routine Electronic Health Record (EHR) data can support the development of AI models for dementia detection. Graduating from Monash Medical School in 2016, she has undergone most of her medical training at Austin Health and Peninsula Health. Drawn to the compassionate core of geriatric medicine, Alicia is committed to combining research and patient care to make a meaningful difference and advance the field of geriatric medicine. Outside work, Alicia can be found swapping her stethoscope for a novel or a suitcase in pursuit of a new adventure.
