Karishma Deo
Karishma is an experienced hospital pharmacist with over 17 years in NSW Health, specialising in clinical pharmacy, education, and leadership. She is currently the Acting Deputy Director of Pharmacy at Liverpool Hospital and is a passionate educator.
She has a strong background in education and training, having previously worked as the Senior Pharmacist – Education & Training. She has led department-wide clinical education programs, facilitated work-based assessments, and is actively involved in training junior medical officers, pharmacists, medical students, and nursing staff.
A Board-Certified Geriatric Pharmacist, Karishma is committed to evidence-based practice and optimizing patient care. She actively contributes to research, quality improvement projects, and interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance the safe and effective use of medicines
