Nathan M D'Cunha
Associate Professor Nathan D'Cunha is a researcher at the University of Canberra and ACT Health Research and Innovation Fellow. He is also the dementia and cognition theme lead in the Centre for Ageing Research and Translation. His work focuses on rehabilitation and reablement for people with dementia and their care partners. He completed his PhD studying the National Gallery Art and Dementia program's effects on stress responses and quality of life. Currently, he is researching the SPICE program at Canberra Health Services which includes Cognitive Stimulation Therapy, and conducts research on intergenerational care, allied health in residential aged care, and nutrition for healthy ageing. He serves on the ACT Government's Ministerial Advisory Council for Ageing and chairs the ACT Division of the Australian Association of Gerontology.
